Our History

The Bouglione Family of France, is known for their illustrious circus legacy. In 1934, Anouchka Bouglione’s great-grandfather, Joseph Bouglione, along with his brothers Alexandre, Sampion, and Firmin – collectively known as the “Four Brothers Bouglione” – became the proud owners of the iconic Cirque D’Hiver in Paris.

The family’s fame skyrocketed when, in 1955, Hollywood chose their venue to film the classic movie “Trapeze” starring Tony Curtis, Gina Lollobrigida, and Burt Lancaster.
