World Premiere Acts at Annapolis Mall

The 380-seat big top creates an intimate setting where you’ll witness performances that push the boundaries of human capability. Anastasiia Maksymchuk makes her USA debut with a breathtaking aerial hammock silk routine, while Duo Nava — Jacqueline Itzel Morales and Brandon Carrisosa Nava — premiere their brand-new duo straps act developed specifically for this production.

The Supka Family Juggling Troupe crosses the Atlantic for their North American debut with two distinct juggling acts that demonstrate why they’re considered among Europe’s finest. Ivo Manfredo brings his gravity-defying rola bola balancing act, and Kostiantyn Tsymbal showcases record-breaking BMX trial riding with front wheel hops that have to be seen to be believed.

Between the high-flying acrobatics, Chico Rico delivers multicultural comedy from the United Kingdom, while Pedro ‘Rampin’ Jr. introduces a new French-inspired clown character that brings charm and laughter throughout the show. Technical Director Reinaldo Monteiro and his son Noah Bouglione Monteiro create stunning visual moments with their laser light show, while Anouchka herself performs her signature hula hoop act.

The Big Top Experience

Forget everything you think you know about modern circus venues. This is a traditional canvas tent erected specifically for this Annapolis engagement at the Annapolis Mall location on Annapolis Mall Road. The tent features ventilation and fans to keep air circulating during performances, and free parking means easy access for families throughout Anne Arundel County and beyond.

The single-ring format means every seat offers clear sightlines to the performance. You’re not watching from a distant arena seat — you’re part of the action, close enough to hear the performers’ concentration and see the determination in their expressions as they execute maneuvers that took years to master.

Planning Your Visit to the Big Top

The venue sits at 2002 Annapolis Mall Rd, easily accessible from Route 50 and Aris T. Allen Boulevard. With 17 performances scheduled between April 30 and May 10, you’ll find multiple showtimes throughout the week to fit your schedule. Evening performances provide a perfect activity after exploring downtown Annapolis or visiting the Naval Academy, while weekend matinees work well for families with younger children.

Arrive early to soak in the pre-show atmosphere. There’s something magical about approaching a striped big top tent in a modern shopping center setting — it’s a reminder that circus tradition continues to thrive even in our digital age. Free parking eliminates the hassle common at many entertainment venues, and the Annapolis Mall location means you can combine your circus visit with dining or shopping.

What Makes This Production Different

Cirque De Paris operates without the safety nets and elaborate rigging systems common in contemporary circus productions. These performers train outside traditional circus schools, learning their crafts through family tradition and intensive personal dedication. The show contains no singing or live music in the traditional sense — instead, the focus remains on pure circus artistry and the connection between performer and audience.

Every artist in this production brings something unique. The acts range from classical circus disciplines reimagined for modern audiences to completely new creations that blend athletic skill with artistic vision. This isn’t a recreation of historical circus — it’s a living art form that honors tradition while pushing into new territory.

Annapolis audiences will be among the first in North America to witness this particular collection of performers. After this Maryland engagement, the show continues to other East Coast cities, but this spring represents your opportunity to see world-class circus artistry right here in Anne Arundel County.
